Food for thought

Giving an advice may be constructive,
Nonetheless, lending a listening ear may be wiser.
Heeding an advice may be wise,
However, learning from mistakes may seem to be more constructive.

Was mulling over it in my mind for a very long time. Sometimes, people are just not searching for an answer, or a solution to a problem. So why be smart alex and give advices to people when you know it will fall on deaf ears? Perhaps they just need a listening ear so that they can rant all they want. I'm not a psychologist and I know nuts about psychology. I simply put myself in their shoes.
On the other hand, self-realization and self-reflection is one level above listening to one's advice blindly. Its not something that any Tom Dick Harry can do. The formula to it will be realizing one's mistake and make sure he/she will not let history repeats itself. Be it own mistake or others as reference.
There's no right or wrong in judgemental / subjective issues like this. Its not like maths which have a definite answer sheet. So ignore if I'm wrong! Cheers!

Boredom
Tuesday, April 07, 2009 1:24 PM
Omg~! I'm so bored now! I'm unemployed for only a week and its getting out of my nerves. Humans are contradicting animals. When they're overwhelmed by loads of work, they wish they could stay home to relax. When they can finally stay home to relax, they wish that they could do something more eventful. The old man saying "Grass is always greener on the other side" beholds.
Was facebook surfing when I came across my primary school classmate's profile. 12 years of mystery till finally facebook brought us together. Had other friends found on friendster few years back. Only her, I couldn't find. One of my bestest pal in school. My impression of her was, timid, sweet, pretty, soft-spoken, and she dont eat spicy food. lol. She look exactly the same as before, except much prettier, much more matured, and smarter looking. Oh yah! She loves to call me "Irises" and claimed that she meant "Iris's". Weird.. lol. She hardly age at all. Thats so unfair! Here's her facebook profile (Not too sure if you guys can see it):

"So much to do, so little time!" - Sounds cliche to you? Alors, let me change the phrase alittle. "So much to do, so much time!" Sounds pretty cool huh?! Thats my kind of life now I would say. I'm unemployed since 31st March 2009 and my school will only commence around August 09. Oh by the way, I've enrolled for Laselle School of Arts Aug intake. By RIGHT, its a 3 years course + Bach as I have zero design background I need to start from scratch. This means, a year of foundation and 2 years of diploma before I can take my bachelor in UK. As a matter of fact, I went through for the diploma's interview. Hooray! I saved a year of youth + daddy's money. March was a pretty tough month for me. In order to score points for my interview, I need to prepare a portfolio. And as I've zero design background, guess what.. I ended up in a workshop organized by some kind soul from Laselle. Had sleepless nights just for that amateur designed porfolio. Whats most amazing is that, the interviewers seem more concerned about my presentation skills, certs, and probably and most likely, age. Felt alittle betrayed. Betrayed because the importance of the portfolio is over-rated. But whatever it is, I'm glad I pulled through.
After the interview + packing my room (did today) + polishing my car (did yesterday), I still have a whole lot of "to do list" to accomplish. For instance, send my car for inspection, service my car, full body check up, go to the dentist, some slight operations to undergo, lasik, master the beautiful language of french, read up all my books, etc. This will keep me busy for quite some time.
Enough of my boring busy schedule. Tell you guys an interesting news that I heard from my friend. lol.
This smart lady, most likely a non-Asian, was feeling so kinky one fine night. She brought a live lobster home, not to cook and eat it up, but to 'play' with it. What she did was, she made use of the lobster's wriggling tail to masturbate. She inserted the lobster's tail into her vagina. She cleverly used a lighter to burn the lobster's head so that the lobster will struggle and bring her pleasure to the highest level. Alors, so smart of her to think of such pleasuring masturbation. Little did she knows that a few days later, her vagina begins to feel pain when she urinate. And little shrimps slowly swim out of her vagina. She had gave birth to little shrimps. The doctor mentioned that as a human body temperature is very optimal for lobsters to breed, it actually stored its eggs in the girl's vagina. She died eventually. I've read online that a female lobster can lay up to 80,000 eggs at a time. I believe thats the cause of her death. Its pitiful yet a lesson to learn. Not that dont masturbate with animals but, TO TREAT ANIMALS LIKE HOW YOU TREAT YOURSELF! NO ANIMALS ARE BORN TO BE TORURED AND HUMILATED. THEY DONT DESERVE SUCH TREATMENTS! And as a tool for your pleasure? You ought to be shot!
